31 Main Street -- Kollock House
Tenant postcard c 1910
This structure survived the fire of 1882 and in the 1870’s was the home of Royal Kollock and his wife Polly who were both deaf. Their son was not hearing impaired and worked in the rubber factory in Colchester.
Think about It

How would your life be different if you could hear, but your parents could not?
Using your observation skills—How are all of the houses from the Congregational church similar? How are they different?
